Honorees

"Basketball has brought so many good people into my life and the platform it has given me has enabled me to share the best parts of it. In high school I used to stop by my grandmother, Anna Gallagher's house, before Friday night games in the Catholic League. It was a ritual of sorts and only a few years later, she passed after fighting cancer. Because of the leadership of coaches around the country, and especially here in Philadelphia, I started with Coaches vs. Cancer almost 20 years ago and it has been a part of my stops at Pennsbury, Bristol and Conwell Egan. The game gives us an opportunity to reach so many people, and our involvement with C vs. C is the highlight of every year. I would really like to thank my staff, the supportive administration at Pennsbury and especially my family- because they support this on every level. " - Frank Sciolla
