Tourney Tip-Off Breakfast

Guests gather on the historic Palestra floor for a morning of food, fun, and NCAA Division l Men’s Basketball Finals! More than 400 corporate leaders have the opportunity to network and compare their brackets with those of the coaches and some favorite sports media personalities.

BasketBall Gala

The BasketBall is an amazing gathering of leaders from Philadelphia’s health care, business and philanthropic communities who come together to raise significant funds for the American Cancer Society. Hosted by the Big 5 Coaches and their wives, this black-tie evening will feature an elegant dinner, entertainment, spectacular live and silent auctions, and late-night dancing, all in support of this important life-saving cause.

Jim Maloney Golf Classic

We invite you to join Philadelphia’s NCAA Division I Basketball coaches for a day of lunch, golf, cocktail reception and dinner at the annual Coaches vs. Cancer of Philadelphia Jim Maloney Golf Classic.

Preseason Luncheon

Get up close and personal with the Big 5 Coaches as guests enjoy an afternoon of lunch, networking, and an exclusive look into the coaches’ winning mentalities for the upcoming season.

Other Events & Fundraisers

We have many volunteer leaders who host tournaments and fundraisers throughout the year to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer.

School & Youth Initiative

The Coaches vs. Cancer School and Youth Initiative is a program designed to encourage student-athletes, coaches, fans, parents, athletic directors and local communities to become more involved and make an impact in the fight against cancer.

Hackers vs. Cancer Golf Tournament

Tee off and take a hack out of cancer! Mike Romero and the Hackers vs. Cancer team are hosting their 13th annual tournament, benefitting Coaches vs. Cancer. For more information and to register, contact Mike at 915-867-3232. Act fast, this tournament sells out!

Officials vs. Cancer Golf Classic

The Officials vs. Cancer Philadelphia Chapter fundraises year round with their golf event being their largest annual fundraiser benefitting Coaches vs. Cancer. Email Jim Koskinen for more information and to register!

Coaches vs. Cancer 5K

Sunday, June 30, 2024
Check-in/registration opens at 7:30am. Runners will begin at 8:30am with walkers to follow.

Wilson Farm Park, 500 Lee Rd. Wayne, Pennsylvania, 19087

All ages, family, and friends are invited to participate!

Registration:
Runners- $40; Walkers- $30; Kids age 18 & under- $20; Family- $100

Register early - shirts are limited to the first 250 registrants.

Flat and scenic 3.1 mile course through Wilson Farm Park in Chester County.
